The United States has transferred $ 30 million to Moldova to pay compensation to citizens.

The US Agency for International Development (USAID) has allocated Moldova $30 million to overcome the energy crisis. As reported on January 6 in the presidential administration of Maia Sandu, the money will go, including for the payment of compensation to citizens.

"In the last days of last year, our country received $30 million from the United States through USAID. The money will be used to overcome the energy crisis, including the payment of compensation to our citizens and assistance to economic agents to cope with high energy prices. The mobilization of these resources will help mitigate the consequences of Russia's war in Ukraine and help meet the critical needs of our country," the Sandu administration said.

The President also thanked everyone who supported and supports our country during this difficult period.
