China is ready to help Moldova make a breakthrough in the field of industrialization
China is ready to deepen cooperation with the Republic of Moldova in such areas as agricultural processing, transport infrastructure, digitization and renewable energy in order to help Moldova make a breakthrough in the field of industrialization. This was stated by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Moldova Yang Wenbin.
He recalled that in 2013 China launched the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, cooperation with countries in this project has led to fruitful results. In September 2021 China has proposed a global development initiative focusing on cooperation in areas such as food security, industrialization, climate change and environmental development, digital economy and communications.
According to the Chinese diplomat, one of the main goals of these two initiatives is to promote the industrialization of developing countries through cooperation. Moldova has a favorable geographical location, high-quality labor resources and free trade agreements signed with the European Union, the Commonwealth of Independent States, Turkey and other entities, which creates favorable conditions for stimulating industrialization.
